Keep Calm & Let’s get to the bottom of this

A little history lesson for the audience. We see this poster, everywhere and on everything’s its almost been an explosion of  this quote, were not calm anymore.  High Snobiety  shared the fun facts of what we love so much.  Who would have thought it dated back to the beginning of World War II.  With the history behind it,  It legitimizes the statement and makes you want to share it more. Watch this video, see where ” Keep Calm and Carry on” may take you…

This short, directed by Michael Rothman, is meant to showcase the struggles and discoveries of ones self while presenting the beauty of Roark‘s Spring/Summer ’12 line. Rothman himself elaborates on ‘Wind’ and the allegory of the films beautiful flow and obvious pain. “The underlying narrative for the video ‘Wind’ was to illustrate the struggle and grace that comes with personal growth, the willingness to accept challenges and do what it takes to overcome them,” says Rothman (DazedDigital.com).

Got my Vans on but they look like, Hermes Scarves?

Classic Thrash meets Classic Chic or Hermes meets Vans.  Probably not the first Brand to come to mind when you think of  a collaboration with Vans, but they mixed it up and out comes the trendiest Vans I’ve seen to date. These shoes might not want to be treated with the same love you gave your original Vans, but hey at least you will be kickin’ it up in style!

… that’s right. Now clean up the drool for staring at this astounding transformation Interview Magazine did on Katy Perry. Can we get a round of applause  for them because, I had to take a double-take to really notice who this bombshell is! Photographer Mikael Jansson and stylist; The Imagist- Karl Templer  did good. Katy Perry will be featured on Interview’s cover for March. I will no-doubtingly be buying this magazine not only for its cover but, how hilarious the interview will be by comedian Kristin Wiig from Bridesmades. Read more here.

AGENCY x Photographer Collaboration

0

AGENCY prides on being different from the norm and has proven itself to be so.  From the interior design, the service, and the incredible unannounced DJs, its easy to say that AGENCY has done its job to go above and beyond the norm.

It doesn’t just stop there.  AGENCY has taken a new direction towards the “nightclub flyer”.   AGENCY created a Photographer Collaboration campaign that will run for the next three months. Each month, a different photograph  will shoot four images that emphasize the fashion, photography and the modeling industry that will be used as the week’s flyer.  The photographer’s name will be placed on the image, to give credit and show LA who is responsible for that piece of art.

Andi Elloway, an editorial photographer and the owner of The Outlet, shot the first month of the campaign mimicking a fashion editorial.  The twist…using AGENCY goers as model, giving  the images a raw and unfiltered look.

AGENCY is currently in the talks for the next collaborator but requires that it is a local LA photographer that we all know and love.  Just know that each photographers’ creative direction will insure something different and bring out that AGENCY is lies above the rest in all aspects.
