The Del Rey

Lana del Rey has already won our hearts through her music, but now she is turning her talent into a brand. LANA DELUXE.  Mulberry is naming their latest bag after her, The Del Rey. She has been sitting front row London Fashion Show, performing at their Frieze Art Fair in New York City. I believe that qualifies every right to have a bag named after her. That’s not all, everybody wants a pieces of the new-indie it girl. After all she has said that her inspiration comes from Tupac.

Jean Roch features both Snoop Dogg and Karl lagerfeld in his new video….did you notice the subtlety of the mix  who is actually in this video. Jean Roch is really trying making this world a mixing pot because never would we have EVER thought we would be using the their names in the same sentence. It is 2012 though, anything could happen…Let’s just hope pigs are not ready to fly. Check it out. Maybe they will start a line together or Mr.Lagerfeld will have an epiphany and start bustin’ a ryhme on Snoop’s latest tracks.

Who am i kidding, just watch.

Coachella does it again, and we are just recovering from this year’s festival. No matter what the gap between the festivals is, there is no doubt that we are going to be at our computers 10a.m. sharp waiting to purchase our ticket  away from reality, next year.  Even without a line-up it makes the purchase even more exciting. Let’s hope it doesn’t turn into a Hologram concert…. Get your tickets or start the pre-payment plan this Thursday May 17th @ 10 a.m.

Cross your fingers none of us are in the “waiting room” to buy for too long.

The New Mirabelle

Close your eyes…..ok. Now open them! Your staring at the new interior of Mirabelle. The lounge has been completely remolded and now filling the rooms are paint splattered wooden tables, teddy bears in glass cages. Don’t let us forget an array of antlers and a head’s horse to really bring in this cozy cabin like feel with an edge. ha. This could potentially be a rather intimate date place or a man’s cave. To really smooth things out, their eclectic menu has options like braised octopus from the seas of majorca with lemon and Colorado Lamb loin along with many other interesting options. Its reopening tonight, if you make it there before us. Make sure to end your night with a stunning view in The Conservatory.

Cheers!

Last night’s extravagant event, The Met Gala is a night of thousand dresses. There was good, and then there was bad. Really bad. Jessica Stam was one of our best dressed of the evening. She wore a light blue Couture Dior dress that was stunning on the red carpet.  Take a look at The Cut’s slideshow and tell us who wore it best.
